3 Must-Use Sites for Banner Ad Creative

3 Must-Use Sites for Banner Ad Creative

Good creative is key to a winning display campaign. But usually there’s a resource constraint with generating interactive ads, let alone testing and refreshing them. Luckily, there are three great sites that should allow all businesses to be successful online.

NOTE: I receive no compensation for promoting these websites – just an fan!

1. BannerSnack

An online software that allows you to easily create engaging Flash and still banner ads.

Examples

The 3 square ads use Bannersnack’s ability to add videos from YouTube, while the skyscraper showcases the basic animation capabilities. Buttons come built in and you can create any size. You can ‘edit as new’ to refresh/update an ad. I guarantee these stand out and each one took less than an hour to create!

Bonus

Banners can be embeded, which means you can use the same tool to spice up your website. Create a slider, showcase images, add interactive elements. And the super bonus…they offer six other great online tools!

  • Photos slideshows for Facebook, Twitter and blogs
  • Custom web audio players, mp3 players and podcasts
  • Custom video players & playlists
  • Polls, quizzes and surveys [Example]
  • Flipping books for PDF and web books
  • Online presentation sharing
  • Smart notifications for websites

Cost

Free versions available with watermarks, but plans are just $12 a month.

2. Pixlr

A free online alternative to (expensive) Photoshop.

Bonus

You can save Pixlr files with layers to work on them at a later time. And you can even open some PSD files. You can access it on any computer. [Unlike traditional PhotoShop licenses].

Cost

FREEEEEEEE! [The real thing costs hundreds of dollars!]

3. Moat

Shows all banner ads by companies – aka a great way to get inspiration. Search for your competitors ads or industry leaders to see what kind of ads they are running. They may not have every ad, but this is the coolest online marketing tool I’ve seen in a long time!

Cost

FREE for all searching – without even logging in. But they do also offer premium display analytics.

It’s a shame you don’t have a donate button! I’d without a doubt donate to this outstanding blog! I suppose for now i’ll settle for book-marking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account. I look forward to brand new updates and will talk about this site with my Facebook group. Talk soon!
